Little Mermaid & Pony

Sophie is my cousin's daughter and for her 5th Birthday she decided she wanted a Pony Cake! So after planning what I was going to do, I got the pony and was going to start baking it the next day. That night I got a call saying that Sophie wanted a Pony & a Little Mermaid Cake! Eeeks! So after a little creative thinking on how to combine the two ideas I came up with this, and I got to make the Birthday Girl happy!! Happy Birthday Sophie!

Lightning McQueen

This was a challenge! The Birthday Boy (Jayden) was very particular on what he wanted for his 4th Birthday cake. I was warned that he paid attention to detail, so no pressure! It was a fun challenge because I had never molded a shape like that with fondant before, but I love it when I get a chance to try something new. Luckily it all went well and Jayden approved of his Birthday Cake! Happy Birthday Jayden!

Kara's Cake

I can't believe my niece is 5 years old! For her Birthday they had a swim party, a bounce house, lots of family and lots of fun! So she wanted a water/pool themed cake! It was a simple cake but fun to do, and even more fun to see how excited she got when she saw it! Happy Birthday Kara Rose, Love Aunt Brittany!

CDF Cake

This Birthday cake was for a co-worker's husband, and hopefully as you can tell from the cake, he's an Airplane Mechanic for CAL FIRE. At first I wasn't quite sure what to incorporate into the cake but my co-worker just gave me a picture of one of his airplanes and said do what you think would look good! So after a little creativity I thought I'd incorporate it all...the airplane, the trees, and of course FIRE! Needless to say it was a big hit and a lot of fun to do! Happy Birthday Jesse!

Bridal Shower

This cake was for Denise's Bridal shower. Her Wedding flowers were peonies, which are fun because I enjoy making flowers. While the Wedding color was pink with as much sparkle as she could get! It was a fun cake being able to incorporate making flowers and adding the sparkle on it. The cake flavor was Carmel Vanilla which also happens to be my most popular flavor! Congrats Denise!

Mike & Natalie's Wedding

Mike & Natalie's Wedding was at a Catholic Church in Downtown Sacramento. The Ceremony was beautiful and the look on both of their faces was priceless. The reception was outdoor with amazing weather in Sacramento at Natalie's Sister's home. The Bride & Groom's cake was chocolate. The cupcakes were the Brides choice and were: Carmel Vanilla, Chocolate with a Jr. Mint on top, Fun-fetti, and Carrot cake with a mini carrot on top! All together it was a very fun day, and Congrats again to Mike and Natalie!

Country Girl-Bridal Shower

This whole Bridal Shower theme was Country Girl her colors were denim, eyelet white, and light yellow. Thought it turned out nicely with the belt buckle,and the cowgirl hat

Beehive Cake

I got asked to make a Beehive Birthday cake which I was excited to make, but pretty nervous. I'd never made one, but was up for the challenge. I think it turned out pretty good!

Birthday Cookie Cake

My Brother-in Law LOVES my sugar cookies and this was his BIG BIRTHDAY 18!!!!! So I made an 18 layer sugar cookie cake! It was definitely a sugar rush!

Goose's Cake

I had the pleasure of doing the wedding for Danny "goose" and his wife a couple months prior. They had a lot cupcakes left over from the wedding, but when he finally finished off the lemon cupcakes he was super sad. Danny & Nichole's Wedding

This wedding was at the Flower Farm in Loomis, what a a beautiful venue! The happy couple will be heading off to Paris, France for a 3week Romantic honeymoon. Congrats Danny & Nichole

This was my first LARGE order. I ended up making over 200 cupcakes! The top layer was lemon, the middle layer was funfetti and the bottom layer was half chocolate & half carmel/vanilla.

Baby Reveal

This cake was for Baby #2 so the parents decided to have a baby reveal party! It was fun trying to incorporate blue and pink since nobody knew if it was a boy or girl. Once they cut the cake, they were all able to see that it was BLUE for a little BOY!!!! CONGRATULATIONS Nash Family!

Kristina & David's Wedding

I was asked to make the cake for Kristina & David's special day! I loved the colors & flowers she used for the wedding. When I met up with the Bride and the Groom to discuss the cake ideas she asked, "what smashes better, fondant or butter cream?" I knew right there David was going to get a face full of cake. :) Congrats Kristina and David!

Neil & Diana's Wedding

This was my FIRST wedding cake!! My Aunt Leslie asked me months ago to make this and I was so excited....(very nervous too) She let me decide on the look, colors, EVERYTHING! (which kind of made me even more nervous) Their only request was chocolate cake or key lime cake. So the brown layers were chocolate and the white layers were Key Lime and it turned out great. I'm so grateful that I have wonderful family that supports me! Thank you for letting me be part of your Beautiful Day Neil and Diana! Probably the FUNNEST wedding yet!

Captain America

My friends son just turned 5 years old and he was very adamant on what kind of a cake he wanted. If anyone asked him how old he was he would say, "I'm 5 and I'm going to have a Blueberry Captain America cake for my Birthday!" The boy definitely knows what he wants! So that's what I ended up making for him! Happy Birthday Michael, hope you enjoyed your blueberry Birthday cake.

Baby Ryder

Tiffany & Brian are expecting their first BABY! Earlier in the month they didn't have a name picked out, which is why the cake says Baby Blodget. It was an awesome baby shower! Lots of friends and family...this baby will definitely be loved! Welcome soon baby RYDER!

Batman

It was my cousin's Birthday and he turned the big 29 on July 29th! He is a huge Batman FAN, so I hope he enjoyed this cake. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRENT!

My cousin's little girl is having a Tinker Bell Party! She's turning 4 years old, and I get to be the one to create the cake for the big day. I hope she likes it!!! :)

Outdoor Critter

This Cake is for my niece's Birthday! She likes to play outside and catch frogs, snakes, ladybugs, snails, and pick flowers! So I thought I'd incorporate them all in one cake! Also, one of her favorite treats to eat are blueberries! We have to watch her when she eats them so she doesn't eat too fast :) So I decided to put blueberries in the cake! I can't wait to see the look on her face!

Birthday Cake

Happy Birthday Melody!!! This multi layer cake was chocolate on top and vanilla carmel with strawberry puree in the center.

Hardware Cake

This cake is German Chocolate and was a bit challenging...because I had never made German Chocolate! The 1st "test" trial turned out too crumbly. I'm hoping this one will be better.... fingers crossed! The Birthday man's hobbies are wood working, and he loves to play the drums!

Flower Cake

I Finished my cake classes!! This is 3 layers with a ribbon wrap around each section, and then I just added flowers for decoration. I think it would be great for a Bridal Shower!

Strawberry Lemonade Cake

This cake was for my Mother in-law's Birthday. It has strawberry puree inside 4 layers high with lemon/lime zest and juice in the frosting. YUM! Perfect for a summer dessert!

Bridal Shower

I was asked to make cupcakes for a Bridal Shower! Half of the cupcakes were lemon and the other half were chocolate & peanut butter. Making these cupcakes was fun because I was able to discover a new good recipe!

Train Cake

I was asked to make this for a friends son's 4th Birthday! She gave me the theme and I was able to come up with the design of the train going around 3/4 of the cake. This was a fun one because I was able to be a little more creative, and was my first paying customer!!!! Happy Birthday Andrew!

Little Girl Flip Flops

I saw these flip flops at the store and I thought they were so cute...but plain. So I thought I'd make them a little more cute by adding flowers...why not?! In the end, I think they were a success. Now I can't wait until I can make things like this for my OWN kids!
